Nearly 50 years ago, Lael Jackson came West to California as a college graduate armed with considerable ambition and a degree in Interior Design. As Fate would have it, she wound up in Show Business and enjoyed many years as a successful actress in film, stage, TV and radio.

Show Business is hardly ever steady work, so between assignments Lael helped fellow actors, her agents and others find and furnish homes in and around Hollywood–and a second career began.

Then she married a dashing airline pilot and moved to San Diego to begin family life. The Paradise that is San Diego captured her heart and more and more her focus shifted from Hollywood to San Diego and Real Estate. Now a proud Grandma, Lael adores the company of her wonderful kids and grandchildren and still makes the occasional appearance on screen.
